Ameera F. Sayeed, AICP
Ameera F. Sayeed has over 20 years of Program and Project Management experience in Land Use and Transportation Planning. Her combined management and technical skills are unique with a proven record of innovation, collaboration and delivering results.
She has consulted for a major inter-city passenger rail service and several local governments. Her consulting experience includes support for rail financing and corporate development, providing assistance to over $1.7-billion-dollar private sector investments in Florida. She has experience in investment grade financing, loans and grants. Ameera was appointed as a member of the City of Jacksonville's Context Sensitive Streets Standards Committee (CSSC) by Mayor Lenny Curry (2019).
Ms. Sayeed has been involved in numerous corridor/subarea studies, traffic impact studies and master plans. Prior to joining the private sector, she was a Program Manager at the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT). She has held several private and public sector positions, managing multi-million dollar programs in land use and site planning, asset management, transit and rail planning, bicycle/pedestrian planning, travel demand modeling, GIS , local government comprehensive planning, and zoning. In her regulatory roles, she has worked on statewide and regional policies and strategic planning, assessed land development plans and transportation projects.
Ameera has a degree in Geography from Arizona State University in Tempe Arizona. She is a member of both the American Planning Association (APA) and the American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP).
